Aim: Mesenchymal stem cells can easily differentiate into cardiomyocytes in vitro conditions using various protocols. However, the agents used these protocols have been reported to some adverse effects on cell viability. Azacitidine is mesenchymal cardiac muscle cells. The aim of present study was investigate Exenatide a GLP-1 receptor agonist, differentiation and viability human adipose tissue derived cardiomyocytes. Materials Methods: Azacytidine proliferation were analyzed with cytotoxicity assay. For procedure, incubated through four weeks. morphological alterations monitored expressions cardiomyogenic markers (cTnI, GATA4 ve MYH7) evaluated immunohistochemically. Also, troponin I (cTnI) levels cultures measured enzyme-linked immunosorbent Results by one way analysis variance (ANOVA) post-hoc test. Results: Treatment significantly decreased (54.4%) compared control whereas treatment + prevented death dose-dependent manner. Cells treated showed significant consistent cardiyomyogenic differentiation, increase expression markers. cTnI found higher separately together control. Conclusion: Overall, findings suggested that agonist may beneficial differention reducing damage caused Azacytidine.
